A large HD Smart TV offers entertainment, with free fast WiFi throughout.

The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need, whether you’re preparing breakfast before the beach, cooking a family meal or picking up fish and chips from town.

Kennford offers flexible sleeping arrangements. Gas central heating, bed linen, and towels are all provided.

Outside

Step outside and enjoy the multi-tiered garden, where colourful planting, several seating areas and practical touches make it easy to relax after a day exploring Salcombe.

The outdoor hot shower is a real highlight, perfect for rinsing off sandy toes after a day at the beach, while water bowls are provided to keep four-legged guests refreshed.

Location

Kennford is perfectly positioned just moments from Island Street and Batson Creek, with Salcombe’s independent shops, cafés, pubs and waterfront all within easy walking distance.

The passenger ferry to East Portlemouth is around 10 minutes from the cottage, giving easy access to beautiful beaches including Fisherman’s Cove, Smalls Cove and Mill Bay. Whitestrand is also nearby, where you can catch the South Sands ferry or enjoy an estuary cruise.

For walkers and dog owners, the South West Coast Path and some of the area’s best dog-friendly beaches, including North Sands, Gara Rock and Soar Mill Cove, are all within easy reach.

We absolutely loved our stay. The property was very homely and we settled in immediately. It is extremely well located to enjoy Island Street and close to the main town centre. It was also equipped so well and we had everything we needed for our stay Clare is amazingly responsive and any messages we sent were responded to in minutes. We will definitely be back to stay here again.

Location great , easy walk to Salcombe centre and all facilities. The house is lovely, good facilities , room enough for a larger family , we were just 3 plus our pet. Lovely sloping garden. Nice to eat breakfast in the sunshine. Very well equipped kitchen. Loved bedding. Smart heating. Very clean. Welcome biscuits and coffee nice touch. All cleaning products to hand. Bathroom - shower and bath . John Lewis toiletries nice touch , Good instructions and manuals. Games and books . Information very good. We did not meet host Clare but her communication was superb, also proactive and responsive when we had issue out of her control. Would highly recommend this property.

10/10. Lovely clean property with excellent facilities, including on site parking. Beautiful Salcombe is a short walk away, with a great choice of eating places (our favourite, the Victoria Inn). We enjoyed it very much. Thank you Clare.
